NIGHT AND DAY - DIFFERENT

RECENT E-MAIL from ARMENIA

Hello!
We are ten hours ahead now.

Armenia is totally different than Turkey.

It’s a Christian nation, it’s a lot smaller (1.5 million as opposed to 18 million, in the city,) and all the people are incredibly nice and friendly.
This city is a lot poorer.

We are still not sure what we are going to be doing yet. There are a lot of options.

The other team (which it was so nice to see by the way, I missed them) has been working with churches, orphans, a nursing home, and all sorts of other things. There is a lot that we could do, but we want to make sure we are doing what we are supposed to do (it only the third day here).

We've been praying pretty intensely, but so far all God has told us is that it will be really difficult and meticulous work.
God knows what He is doing though.

I honestly just love having time to just focus on seeking Him about this.
He is AWESOME!

The culture is night and day different from Turkey.

The people are incredibly friendly and they are all Christian (at least by name.) With this comes the attitude that missionaries are not necessary here.
They do need us though, because God called us here for a purpose.

Talk to you again soon.
